Exploring audience as an active entity, this participatory project aims to engage passers-by/citizens by collecting their views on notions of revolution today and by creating an in-situ public participatory performance keeping a balance between a pre-structured piece and documentation. The citizens and artists participate in a remake of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” performed in public spaces.
Dramaturgically, the piece aims to investigate the idea of “ending” as a transitory phase of both destruction and growth, exploring how the end manifests itself, in its many different aspects in the post-industrial Western World: political, historical, religious, sociological, economical and artistic.
